Why should you go to counselling?
Life is a journey that can sometimes present challenges. Often making us feel lost or overwhelmed. If you are experiencing any of these difficulties, I am here to work alongside you to help you find a better balance in your life.
Sometimes, what you may need most is guidance or support - a safe environment where you can openly explore traumatic events or past experiences. By understanding how your early life, relationships, your current circumstances or difficult histories can influence your behaviour, you can begin to recognise and address unhealthy patterns.
I believe that identifying these unhelpful patterns is crucial to moving beyond your limitations. By gaining greater self-awareness, and developing new life skills, you can positively impact your mental and emotional health, laying the foundations for lasting change.
This process allows you to have a deeper understanding of who you are and the reasons behind your actions. It also empowers you to make informed decisions about what is best for you.
People from all backgrounds seek counselling for various reasons. Sometimes, you may not fully understand what is happening or what you are struggling with, and you need support in identifying the main issues and concerns you are currently facing. Difficulties such as anxiety, depression, relationships issues, and mental Stress are all common examples.
